About Me
I am deeply passionate about helping children figure out their own unique way to communicate. Beyond expressing our basic wants and needs, communication enables us to create relationships and deepen our connections with the people and world around us. Each child has their own unique way of discovering their voice whether its through sign language, gestures, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), etc. No child is the same and I specialize in working with each child to see what fits their specific needs.
I have over 9 years experience working with clients with a wide variety of diagnoses, disorders and delays including: articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, fluency, hearing loss, apraxia, AAC, and more. I have worked as an SLP in both the public school system for 3 years and in the private practice setting for more than 6 years.
By working across a variety of settings, I am able to address both home and community functioning of my clients, as well as collaborate with other professionals, such as doctors, therapists (OT, PT), and behavioral specialists.
I offer speech/language evaluations, 1:1 private treatment sessions and will come to wherever is most convenient to you. I also include weekly parent coaching/recommendations to carry over outside of therapy. My areas of specialties include phonological processing disorders, receptive/expressive language delays, AAC, and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
If your child needs personalized attention, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
